Robert M. Brenner, M.D., President and Chief Executive Officer
Robert M. Brenner, M.D. joined AlloCure in 2010 from AMAG Pharmaceuticals, where he was Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs and responsible for the company's nephrology clinical development activities. Previously, Dr. Brenner was at Amgen for nine years where he served in a variety of nephrology leadership roles both in clinical development and medical affairs, ultimately holding the title of Executive Director and Renal Anemia Global Program Area Leader. During his career, Dr. Brenner contributed to the approval of new products, led the design of clinical trials, and was a key liaison to the nephrology community, professional societies and regulatory agencies. Dr. Brenner received his B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his medical residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and his fellowship in nephrology at Stanford University Medical Center.

Dena M. Minning, M.D., Ph.D., Vice President, Translational Research
Dena Minning, M.D., Ph.D., joined AlloCure in 2011 as Vice President of Translational Research. Previously, Dr. Minning served as Vice President of Translational Medicine at 3-V Biosciences, overseeing preclinical and clinical activities. Prior to 3-V, Dr. Minning was a Director in Early Development at Amgen, where she led therapeutic programs in anemia, heart failure, myelodysplastic syndromes, and pain, and developed additional drug candidates for asthma and dyslipidemia. Earlier at Amgen, Dr. Minning was an Associate Director in Licensing, where she played a significant leadership role in the successful partnership with Cytokinetics. Dr. Minning received her B.S. from the University of Florida and her M.D. and Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. Her post-graduate internal medicine training was performed at University of California, San Francisco.

Viken Paragamian, BSc, Vice President, Clinical Development
Viken Paragamian joined AlloCure in 2010. Most recently, Mr. Paragamian served as President of Paracore Solutions, where he provided senior-level Clinical Development and Regulatory consultation to the biopharmaceutical industry, specializing in the fields of Nephrology, Gene and Cell Therapies, and Oncology. Previously, Mr. Paragamian was at Amgen Canada Inc. for 15 years, where he served in a variety of positions across the organization, ultimately holding the title of Vice President, Scientific Affairs and Chief Scientific Officer. In his role, Mr. Paragamian oversaw the Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs functions. He led the design and implementation of clinical trials and liaised with regulatory agencies as well as thought leaders in the areas of Nephrology, Oncology, and Rheumatology. Mr. Paragamian is a graduate of McGill University.

John B. Wirthlin, MBA, Chief Operating Officer
John B. Wirthlin joined AlloCure as founding CEO in 2006. Since joining the company, he played a major role in the successful IND filing and execution of the Phase 1 clinical trial targeting acute renal failure. In June of 2008 Mr. Wirthlin led AlloCure through the closing of a Series A financing with SV Life Sciences and Novo A/S. Mr. Wirthlin previously worked for Echelon Biosciences where he served as Secretary of the Board, Director of Business Development and Director of Operations. Echelon was acquired by Aeterna Zentaris in 2004. Prior to joining Echelon, he worked in the financial services and investment banking sector. Mr. Wirthlin received his MBA from Westminster College with an emphasis on technology commercialization.

Mette Kirstine Agger is Managing Partner of Lundbeckfond Ventures and has over 20 years of broad international leadership experience within biotech / life science covering business development and licensing, management and financing. Mette was previously co-founder and CEO of 7TM Pharma A/S. Prior to founding 7TM Pharma, Mette was part of the management team of NeuroSearch A/S responsible for business development and licensing. She started her carrier as Patent Agent and has over the years co-founded several biotech companies. Mette has served on numerous boards both in private and public companies. Her current board memberships include DBV Technologies and Veloxis. Mette Kirstine Agger graduated as Biologist from the University of Copenhagen and has an MBA.

Scott A. Canute joined the AlloCure board of directors in 2012. Scott spent 25 years at Eli Lilly and Company, ultimately serving as President, Global Manufacturing Operations from 2004 until 2007. In this capacity, Scott directed all manufacturing and supply chain activities for Lilly's global operations. Following his distinguished career at Lilly, Scott served as President of Global Manufacturing and Corporate Operations at Genzyme from 2010 until 2011. In this role, Scott served as the architect and leader of the organizational evolution that resulted in restoration of supply of life-saving products to patients in need. Scott currently serves as a member of the boards of Inspiration Biopharmaceuticals and Oncobiologics, Inc. Scott previously served as board member of the National Association of Manufacturers and the Indiana Manufacturers Association. Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

David Guyer joined SVLS in 2006. He serves on the boards of AlloCure Inc., Lux Biosciences, Neurotech, Ophthotech and Panoptica. David co-founded and served as CEO and director for six years at Eyetech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. a biopharmaceutical company that specialized in the development and commercialization of novel therapeutics to treat diseases of the eye. The company developed and gained FDA approval for Macugen, a product to treat macular degeneration, which Eyetech partnered with Pfizer. Eyetech was subsequently acquired by OSI Pharmaceuticals. Prior to founding Eyetech, Dr. Guyer was professor and chairman of the department of ophthalmology at the NYU School of Medicine. David received a BSc from Yale College and an MD from Johns Hopkins Medical School.
